TN5250 app for iPhone and iPad

Please add multitasking support and Bluetooth keyboard support please. Other than that its 5 star.

Use old 5250 applications on newest technology available on market sounds odd...but this application is really useful. It works well, with latest improvements on keyboard layout it can be used even with applications not with IBM std layout interface confotably. Its also fast even with 3G connection with VPN active. Only 4* just to allow developers to improve usage with wireless keyboard or iPad physical keyboard. F keys doesnt work.

Hi, I used this app several times but there are many problems on the function keys... for example in as400 the "alignment" is a primary button and is impossible use it (F+ key); you can try to add a button on the lower right corner of the display (a big one :D) near the keyboard. Another problem is the dimension of "F" buttons please resize... :( if you need space just delete arrows (no need) or simple let us customize the "F" keys in the middle of the screen because is really hard push a single function key... If you change something Im absolutely sure that this app will be the best 5250 app !

This app does everything it says. I seamlessly connected in a matter of seconds. It is well thought out and easy to navigate within.

Im no computer guru, but my employer has a lot of "back office" systems (Accounting, HR systems, etc.) on the iSeries and from the little bit of messing around Ive done on this on the last few hours, this MochaSoft app does everything its advertised to do. Id give it 5 stars if it didnt put me back at the login screen each time I went to the home screen or to other apps. For those of you who are trashing this app even though they have no idea what it is or what its functionality is, why? This app is great for a niche market of iSeries users who want to access the system remotely. If you dont use it or know what it is, save your keyboard strokes and dont review it. This seems like a common problem in the App Store. Why doesnt Apple prevent users from reviewing apps they havent actually downloaded?

I hesitated on iPhone 2.0 until I saw this app. Very happy now!

Nobody---Apple or Att can help me. App works great on wifi but fails on 3G. Hopefully someone will read this and have a fix for me. Thanks

TN5250 has been reliable but the recent update has not allowed me to connect anymore. The connection responds with AS/400 has ended connection. This not due to any system changes disallowing SSL connections because normal PC connection via Client Access via SSL still is allowed. Please update the product quickly to allow connectivity again. Several co-workers are experiencing the same issues after updating the App.

AWESOME app! It sits prominently on my dock, as I use it every day. .... it was broken by the dec 12th update. I reverted to the previous version (thank you time machine).

I am down grading my rating to 1 star. After swapping 8-10 emails with tech support, I still have no answers. The question is simple, will this work over cellular as well as WIFI. The WIFI side of this is flawless. Cellular, not so much. I can not get it to connect. I can also not get a straight answer. If this is supposed to work over cellular, tech support should be able to help me set it up. WIFI was a breeze..... If help improves and straight answers are provided I will be happy to Raise my rating.

My recommendation is not to spend the money on the full version, isnt worth the money for the usage they apparently envision for the product, just use the free lite version. I UPDATED THIS APP AND NOW IT WILL NOT CONNECT ANY LONGER!! THE OLD VERSION WORKED FINE EVER SINCE I INSTALLED IT TWO YEARS AGO. SO PLEASE FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANKS
